Livestock information systems: Our practical information systems are used extensively in the livestock industries of the United Kingdom and other countries.
InterHerd: The market-leading herd management software in the UK is used extensively by farmers, vets and nutritionists to monitor and analyse performance of individual herds and their constituent animals.
InterTrace: A multi-species livestock database suitable for applications requiring accurate records of large numbers of animals and herds/flocks. The system offers full recording of animal performance, movements and traceability. A growing number of applications range from analysing milk recording data and benchmarking of performance, though farm assurance schemes for supermarkets to herd book registration and the monitoring of national disease control programmes.
Consultancy in Veterinary epidemiology and livestock economics: Covering the core areas of livestock information, veterinary epidemiology and livestock economics, our staff have worked in over 70 countries for international agencies, governments and commercial companies.
Training and Research: Since our formation in 1986, our staff have always worked very closely with the Veterinary Epidemiology & Economics Research Unit (VEERU) at The University of Reading. This collaboration between an academic and consultancy company offers great flexibility and opportunities to develop relevant training and research.
